The ACLT was established in June 1996 by Beverly De-Gale and Orin Lewis, the parents of former Leukaemia sufferer, Daniel De-Gale. The charity raises awareness of leukaemia and all blood related cancers and recruits potential bone marrow donors and blood donors. The charity undertakes bone marrow and blood registration drives which enable the general public to be involved in the process of offering hope and a healthy future to someone whose disorder may otherwise prove fatal. The ACLT has raised the numbers of potential donors by tens of thousands and many lives have been saved in the process.

Barrett Hay Educational Services (BHES) offer a range of Saturday tuition classes for primary and secondary aged children. Our teachers are well qualified and experienced in meeting the diverse needs of learners. At BHES our message is quite simple, ‘education, education, education.’ Our parents frequently comment on our high standards and the aspirational expectations we have for all children. We are fortunate to have pupils who are determined to achieve and parents who fully endorse our message. The classes take place in the Crystal Palace area in term -time only and cover subjects such as English, maths and reasoning.
